Any North Carolina registered voter can vote in the Primary.

Voters affiliated with the Republican (REP) party will be given a Republican ballot of candidates.

Voters affiliated with the Democrat (DEM) party will be given a Democrat ballot of candidates.

Unaffiliated (UNA) voters may choose either a Democrat or a Republican ballot, but not both.

Each candidate that wins in each contest on their party’s ballot will become the nominee who will appear on the ballot in the November General Election.
